About

Boo1I’m an award-winning journalist writing about travel, health and fitness for both consumer and trade publications.

I love words. I work with them a lot and I have a good relationship with them, although I realise I may sometimes use them solely for my own benefit. I get great joy out of manipulating them and moving them around. But we understand each other and it’s a good working relationship.

If you need help with any words, from writing to editing or copy writing, I am your person.

I’ve been working in media for 22 years, starting out as a runner for agencies dealing with adverts and short films before I decided to focus on the written word. I moved into travel journalism in 2005 and was fortunate to be able to mix two great passions – travel and writing. I’ve travelled all over the world writing destination pieces, great escapes and reviewing luxury hotels and airlines.

I’m a confident interviewer and have spoken to a broad range of travel and fitness
industry leaders, from the CEOs of hotel groups and airlines to interior designers and top chefs, nutritionists, personal trainers and sport psychologists.

I’ve worked my way up through the ranks from editorial assistant to feature writer, feature editor and editor.

I’m a freelance editor, writer and copy writer based near London. I’m married with three boys, a rabbit and an under-used rowing machine. I’m also the author of Milk and Mayhem – what happens when the kids are in charge…

    Hi Felicity,
I have just seen the article you wrote for ABTN:
    http://www.abtn.co.uk/feature/2617403-special-report-doing-business-iraq
and wanted to let you know that if you are interested in doing any future articles, we have a partner company called RMSI which has set up extensive medical facilities in Iraq. We are also working with them to support businesses who wish to go back into Libya.
Please let me know if you want to follow up and have a chat at any time.
